For our out of town patients, we help cover your costs for travel and accomodations.

We recognize the additional cost for travel and accomodations for our out of town patients and we'd like to help to defray these expenses. When you are arranging your appointment, please ask about our "From Out of Town" program and we will quote you a credit toward your procedure. It can be as much as $500 for out of state patients and $1000 for clients coming from outside the U.S.

Skin Care is easy—even for patients who live out of town.

Our office treats patients who drive or fly in for their Skin Care treatments. We are located in the heart of beautiful Boulder, Colorado in the foothills of the magnificent Rocky Mountains and Rocky Mountain National Park. Out of town patients often enjoy some shopping or other activities near our office before or after their procedure. There are many hotels, shops and restaurants within walking distance including the beautiful Pearl Street Mall. We have treated people from NY, LA, Boston, and Texas as well as a special forces officer in Iraq who booked his case by internet 7000 miles away and 6 months in advance.

Do I need a consultation first?

No. If you are under age 60, in good general health, and have not previously had Liposuction in the areas you would like treated, office consultations are not required. We will mail you a health questionnaire and detailed information packet including sample consents for skin care. Dr. Schlosser will arrange a phone consultation with you to answer any questions and address special concerns. If you do not have the opportunity to schedule a consultation before your procedure, our staff will spend extra time with you immediately before the procedure begins to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered.

What if I make an appointment but I am not a good candidate?

If you have not previously had a consultation with our staff and you arrive for your appointment and our staff does not think you are a good candidate or you are not pleased with the anticipated results we explain to you, you will be refunded 100% of your deposit and procedure fee..

Do I need to know exactly what areas I want treated before arriving?

No. We always leave extra time for our out of town patients in case they decide to add on additional areas. You will be charged for any additional areas on the day of the procedure and you will be fully refunded for any areas that are not treated.

How many areas can I have treated if I am traveling?

Out of town patients are limited to 3 areas per procedure if traveling alone. If you are traveling alone and want more than 4 or more areas treated, you will need to have two procedures and then you must wait a full day before flying home. For example, if you want your upper and lower abdomen, love handles, neck and inner thighs treated (5 areas total), you would need to have two appointments. The first would be for your upper and lower abdomen and love handles (3 areas). The following day (or any day thereafter) you would return to our office for your neck and inner thighs (2 areas). The day after you should rest at your hotel and then fly home the following day.

How do I get to your office?

The decision to hire a car, use an airport shuttle or taxi is individual. Remember, you cannot drive yourself after your procedure although you can drive yourself the following day. Shuttle service, taxis, and car rentals are available from the airport to our center. We can arrange a taxi back to the airport or your hotel after your procedure is finished.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Due to the unpredictable nature of travel, please plan your flight schedule so that you arrive several hours or the day before your appointment. Our procedure schedule is set in advance and we cannot accommodate patients who do not arrive on time for their appointment.

Do I need to bring anything or purchase supplies before my procedure?

Yes. You will be mailed prescriptions that you must fill and bring with you to the office at the time of the procedure. You will be given all the supplies, instructions and garments you will need for your recovery. Wear comfortable clothes (sweat suits are ideal) and please pack lightly since carrying heavy luggage immediately after your procedure is not advised.

Are follow up appointments required?

Follow up appointments for our out of town patients are not required. Our office will stay in contact with you over the phone and you can schedule a follow up appointment any time your travels take you back to Boulder.
